Our Story

Promofect was born from the merger of two companies with one shared mission: to make branding easier, better, and more personal. One half of that story began in Rockland County, where Royal Tees had been printing t-shirts, uniforms, and team gear since the early ’90s. They were known for their quality work, local relationships, and, famously, a shop parrot that had a foul mouth and a lot of fans.

On the other side was Artwill Group, a quiet but powerful presence in premium decorated apparel. They specialized in high end, technical work for major retail brands. No storefront. No walk ins. Just precision work for clients who expect the best.

When the world shifted in 2020, so did the market. Customers needed more than printing. They needed a true branding partner who could move fast, deliver quality, and do things right. Out of that need, Promofect came to life.

Who We Are Today

Since 2021, we have grown steadily, expanding from our original space in Suffern, NY to a 7,000 square foot facility in Mahwah, NJ.

Today, our team combines decades of production experience with a streamlined system that keeps things simple, fast, and reliable. Whether it is a large corporate order or a local fundraiser, our goal is the same: help every client get exactly what they need without the runaround.

We work with a wide range of organizations, from schools and nonprofits to healthcare companies, manufacturers, and service-based businesses. A big part of our foundation is rooted in the first responder community, thanks in part to our team’s family backgrounds. That connection still runs deep.

What we offer now is full-service custom merch: apparel printing, embroidery, promotional products, branded online stores, and fulfillment. We’re not trying to be the biggest; we just want to be the most dependable. That means being responsive, proactive, and thoughtful about every order, whether it’s 24 hoodies or 2,400+ polos.
